Trojan Killer is a program that can detect malware and remove it from your system. It will look for adware, spyware, remote access trojans, internet worms, and other stealth programs that can harm your system stability, health, or privacy.
You can manually tell the program to perform a search, or you can schedule periodic searches. Trojan Killer will also scan the files loaded at boot time, and will check the files you download to your computer. In order to keep itself updated, this program will check online if you have the latest version installed.
When it finds a threat, the program can eliminate it, perform the needed changes in the registry, and remove the modifications that the threat made to your system - things like changing your Internet Explorer Home/Start/Search Page settings, your Windows HOSTS file, or your Window’s Update Policies.
You will be able to use the trial version of this program for fifteen days, but it will not effectively remove any threat or roll back any change made to your system - it will only show the threats that the program found.
- It is an efficient tool to find malware
- The trial version does not fix anything
